A true disruptor for purpose, Justine’s leadership as co-founder of Thankyou has seen a small start-up go against all odds to become one of Australia’s leading social enterprises, globally recognised for its creativity, innovation and impact.

Currently, there are more than 736 million people living in extreme poverty, while global consumer spending totals a staggering US$63 trillion per year. Justine’s passion for social justice and desire to bridge the gap between these two extremes has seen her, along with her co-founder and husband Daniel, determined to implement systematic change in the way they do business.

Thankyou’s fast-growing range of personal care products is stocked by major retailers in Australia, with every product existing all-for the end of global poverty. To date, Thankyou has raised over $17 million to impact the lives of people across 32 countries and was last year recognised in Australia’s top 50 corporate philanthropists above many ASX 200 listed companies.

Justine is a pioneer whose innovative thinking and relentless pursuit of a thriving workplace culture has helped lead Thankyou to be recognised in over 2,500 media features around the world. Her drive for leadership, intuition and commitment to values-led decisions at all costs resulted in her being named as number 2 and 1 in Smart Company’s Hot 30 under 30 in 2015 and 2016, and as well as being a finalist in the 2014 Telstra Women’s Business Awards.

Her work in the social enterprise space has inspired many to realise that there’s never been a more important time to focus on bridging the gap between where we are and where we want to be – seeing the end of extreme poverty around the world, in our lifetime.
