Dom Harvey
Dom made a name for himself as a NZ breakfast radio legend with his 20 years as host on the nationwide “Edge Breakfast show.” In that time he won too many radio awards to count, including the prestigious Sir Paul Holmes award” for being NZ's best broadcaster of the year in 2014.
But without a doubt the award that means the most to him is the “Kiwibank local hero” medal he was awarded after running 5 marathons in 5 days while raising $250,000 for a young girls cancer treatment.
He is now the host of the wildly successful interview podcast, “Runners only with Dom Harvey.” A platform that has earned him praise for his inspiring interviews where well-known New Zealanders open up and be more vulnerable than ever before. Guests on his podcast so far include Dame Lisa Carrington, Sir John Kirwan, Dr Ashely Bloomfield, Rachael Hunter and Mike King.
With 30 years radio experience, Dom is a safe pair of hands and can deliver whatever your event requires - straight and serious or laugh out loud funny.
He has written three books. His most recent, "Running: A love story" was all about his quest to break three hours in a marathon.
